I Just wanted to share a short blog containing important staples for this next wave of cold and flu season. I've used these items myself or to help my family for many years and will share my honest opinion as a holistic wellness coach and naturopathic doctor.
To be clear and as a full disclaimer, these items may not "cure" C19, full blown respiratory issues, severe flu, etc. They can, however, lessen symptoms and drastically reduce the duration of the illness, especially when admnistered at the onset of symptoms.
Please be sure to always seek name brands, not just store brands on these items. Name brand supplements cost a little more, but you get what you pay for. A higher quality supplement is preferred, if possible.
1. Start with a daily Multivitamin.
2. Colloidal Silver
*Natural antibiotic (destroys bacteria, viruses and fungi)
*Promotes healing
*Use as directed, not more than 3 days
3. Vitamin C {Emergen-C}
*Increases immunity
*Cancer-fighter
4. Zinc
*Shortens colds
*Repairs all tissue
*Do not exceed 100mg daily
5. Vitamin D {a brand name}
*Decreases inflammation
*Increases immunity
*Necessary for muscles, nerves and heart health (keeps arteries flexible)
6. Sambucus/Elderberry
*Boosts immune system, increases white blood cells
*Can prevent or ease cold and flu symptoms
*Reduces inflammation
*May reduce cholesterol
Absolutely stock up on these items and use as directed by your health care professional or as stated on the bottle. For prevention, you may want to inlcude these daily as soon as possible, with the exception of the colloidal silver. {CS should only be taken during illness and only for 3 days. DO NOT take longer without consulting your health care professional of choice}
